Pretty solid Chinese restaurant. Does not feel exceptionally healthy, but pretty tasty and seems like decent value. Extremely fast service.
MoreHuge portions all entrees serve at least 2
The food and service were ahead of my expectations. We surely enjoyed the environment of this restaurant. Great spot to take the family out for lunch.
MoreGreat staff, quick and efficient! Good food and value for its price. Definitely a recommended restaurant in casual event.
MoreVery good Food
At here several times food is always bland and very oily. They close at 9 not 930 , awful customer service. I tried to give them a couple chances because they're close to home but after this experience I will never come back. Took 15 minutes to greet me at table then 20 minutes for a noodle entree that tasted horrible.
MoreOverall the food quality of this restaurant is not good (at least for us). Too much MSG in the dishes.
MoreNot fine dining but quality food for reasonable price at lightning speed.
Fresh food that's yummy and sweet! Always delicious and tasty!
Old style Cantonese family restaurant, good value. Great for any time you don't cook at home.
MoreGreat food for cheap price
This is a pretty traditional Chinese cuisine eatery with lot of dishes around noodles, rices, just pretty much everything you expect from a Chinese restaurant. Food quality here is slightly above average.Base solely on food I would probably give this place 3 stars. However, what this place did it for me is it's value. For the amount of money they charge per dish, they give you a lot of food.Overall it's the type of places that you would call it no-frills - quick service, ok to good quality of food, and great value for the price. It's also in a Ranch 99 plaza so it's convenient if you can also bundle the trip with shopping as well as grabbing a cup of coffee/drink from the Starbucks next door. The rumor is also that if you frequent the restaurant, you might also be able to request them to make you a dish from what you just bought from the market, with a price that you'd have to pay of course, but a pretty convenient option if you ask me.
MoreI take my family to this great spot many times a year! This is my favorite spot to eat. I visit this spot regularly. The meals are fantastic, the team is professional and the charge is reasonable. I like meeting in this restaurant over a rich dinner.
MoreWe came to this place for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we felt excellent. The food was just great. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. we highly recommend this place.
MoreThe food is cheap and tastes pretty good. The staff are friendly and quick with the service.
MorePrice for quality and quantity simply unbeatable. At lunch you get basically 2 dishes for the price of one.
MoreOur favorite local authentic Chinese food.
Good home style Chinese food, with a large selection and the willingness to make other common Chinese dishes that aren't on the menu. The restaurant has undergone a recent update with new paint, but more importantly, the recipes and cooking are as good as ever.
MoreThe food is pretty good, there is a lot of flavor. Everytime I go here I always have a good meal. Always consistent with how everything is cooked. I always leave with my stomach full and satisfied.
MoreVery much enjoyed my experience here. We had very good service from Raymond, our waiter. The vegetable stir fry and sweet and sour soup were some foods that we would definitely order again in the future. I liked the sweet and sour pork though it tasted more commercially made then home made. Egg rolls seemed commercially purchased from outside also. On a side note, the fried rice comes in huge sharable portions that i think would be good for 3-4 people if ordered with other dishes on the side. We ended up taking a lot of fried rice home with us. Overall, delighted by my experience. Food here is very affordable and tasty. They serve complimentary tea while you wait for your order. 👍👍👍👍👍
MoreHUGE portions, fair prices, not very flavorful.
Good comfort Chinese food. Cost is reasonable, around $10. No separate lunch menu. Soup is an added cost. Hot tea included. Fortune cookie atno cost has to be requested. Service is fast and food is tasty and spicy.
MoreGreat price and service as always. Food tastes pretty good and the portion size is quite reasonable. Not much wait for food to be ready. The owners care about the food and you are welcome to give feedback.
MoreUnbelievably large portions (3x normal noodle portion). For only $8.50, they also gave fat juicy wantons and tasty roast duck with perfect crispy skin! I like the custom dishes "fan qie chao dan" tomato egg "tie ban qie zi Yu"fish dish
Moreah after 2 weeks of delish cruise food, good old Chinese pepper beef chow fun, duck won ton noodles, fried chicken wings. tasty
MoreChinese food without having to go to Chinatown!
Great place to eat and chill. Amazing hot tea and delicious duck noodle soup. Definitely worth every penny!
MoreOne of them go to places you can go to cuz you know they won’t mess up
Great place for chinese lunch. Very reasonable too.
This is food like my mom used to make.
Inexpensive and tasty place for simple lunch. All servers are super nice and friendly. Located next to Ranch99 super, go after lunch to do your grocery shopping.
MoreI really love this place. Most things I've tried have been exceedingly well-made. The pork fried rice is amazing; better than what I've gotten at high-rated Hibachi joints. The fried tofu with black bean sauce is my personal favorite, and the duck dishes are also excellent. The kids love the spicy garlic chicken and mongolian beef.Tea is served on the house and is perfect unsweetened. The waiters have been kind and have even brought out "practice tofu" for the kids to use chopsticks on. And for fun, order a soup or porridge with long noodles and watch as they expertly dish out the portions. The decor practical and sufficient, basically on par with what you get at a typical budget-oriented Chinese restaurant.
MoreGreat local place for Chinese food. Service is always good even during COVID-19. I'm there at least once a week.
MoreGreat place for lunch. I ordered the Singapore rice noodles... curry spice just right!
MoreGreat customer service and great food
Known for Chow Fun and Won Ton soup. They can combine tables to accommodate a large group. Good handicap access and they have child chairs.
MoreTai Wu is one of those restaurants that make it to your sacred "regular rotation" list 😄 Authentic Chinese cuisine that doesn't break the bank. Soups, noodles, rice combos and entrees don't disappoint. Fast and friendly service. Eat in or take out. It's small so gets packed on weekends. Free parking. Inexpensive.
MoreWent to the Millbrae location and found the food wonderful. Possibly the best egg roll I have ever had. Could add a few wine options though. But it's all about the food and they have nailed it.
MoreOrdered Beef Chow Fun and Pepper Salt Squid. There was tooooo much oil for the chow fun as it was soaked in oil. The squid was too salty and not fried deep enough (Too Soft and white). Over all just a normal level restaurant. They run out of all bbq roast pork&duct for dinner so I did not get a chance to try them.Updated on 6/2019Tried out their beef wunton noodle soup and it was amazing! For $11 I got a big bowl of beef. They also run out of BBQs at around 8pm. I guess it is a good sign that they prepare fresh meats every day.
MoreOrdered the broccoli in garlic sauce and the vegetable medley. Honestly the blandest chinese food I've ever had. The sauce was just too oily and flavored with nothing more than roasted garlic.
MoreHong Kong style noodle craving is what always brings me here. Food is always solid and it comes out pretty quickly. Overall a good Chinese place
MoreThe food is right on par with good Chinese restaurants in the area. Prices are reasonable. It's not a very large space, so it felt crowded at a table for 8, but there's a good amount of parking since it's in a office/grocery complex. The high chair was very sticky, so I would recommend bringing wipes if you are cautious about germs.
MoreBig portion but food is not meeting my expectation
This place never fails to deliver. They have fresh dishes for fair pricing, there are no long waits even when they are full.
MoreThis spot never fails to deliver. They serve fantastic food for fair pricing, there no long wait even when the place is packed.
MoreFigured we order two pretty basic dishes- Rice porridge and char siu won ton noodles. The rice porridge with preserved duck egg and pork was minimal but good. The won ton noodles tasted like just out of the package still folded. The char siu looked and tasted like it was days old. Only the baby bok choy was fresh. Won't be coming back.
MoreGreat prices for a decent Cantonese meal.
Great food and great customer service. Un like the other soup place next door.
Affordable Cantonese Chinese dishes lots of dishes under $10 !
Tasty hot food, friendly people
